Animopus

Animopus is an app where kids drawings come to life. Kids draw on paper, take pictures of their art, and their drawings become the main cartoon characters.

Hi all, I’m Solomon from Animopus. It’s a great great honor to be receiving a Second prize from Digital ehon awards. We are truly proud and grateful for that. We are small team distributed over seven different countries. I believe we will have a chance to get together one day and celebrate in person, possibly in Japan. I also have to mention that one of our illustrators currently in Kiev. I hope that this award will help her to cope and will bring some joy to her life during this hard times. Long hugs to you Diane. How happy would you be if a character you drew appeared in the story!? If you draw a character that follows the theme of Animopus (either digitally, in watercolors, or in crayons!) Oh my, it is doing a great work in a wonderful digital picture book. I also drew the requested one “ghost” with a felt-tip pen. Taking pictures of ghosts is the beginning of an exciting story. Next time I want to make a ghost with clay. It’s a creative app that everyone can enjoy. It seems that it can be used for kindergarten and Childcare drawing time. It is also recommended for parents who know that they need a smartphone or tablet but feel guilty about giving it to their child.
