LINNÉ LENS

Linne(Japan)

About

LINNE LENS is the world’s first AI picture book to hold over. It corresponds to 90% of creatures of aquariums and zoos in Japan, and it is also possible to recognize breeds of dogs and cats in the world. It was named after Carl von Linne, the father of modern taxonomy. What we aim for is that everyone instantaneously identifies flora and fauna worldwide and can analyze a rich world like experts.

Prize Comment

“I am honored to be selected for Digital Ehon Award Digital Education Material Grand-Prix. As the world’s first AI illustrated encyclopedia, LINNÉ LENS is developed with a concept that you analyze a rich world like expert by holding over a device. Although there are so many image-recognizable apps, LINNÉ LENS is able to perceive several high-speed creatures on live and match with information from beautifully illustrated encyclopedias.
Our next challenge is to expand our collection of recognizable targets for wild birds, insects, and plants as well as improve contents of description. We will be so happy that you go out with your friends and families for exploring the nature. At last, I am most grateful to our team members for developing this app together. Thank you very much.
