Simple, but everyone can enjoy with the word of “Fun!”. Even 1 or 2 age kids can touch and play with fun, and also aduls can discover something unexpected. This familiarity and profound that let people who see and play the app interpret by several ways, and that shows the true worth of Digital Ehon. It could be imagined a pleasant scene that toddlers would learn faster than their parents and tell them or grandparents how to use the app with surrounding tablets. Except examination standards of this award, I chose “Sawatte Oshite Yubi-Aso-Book Chon Chon Chon” as the winner from the viewpoint of “child-caring design” that I have interested in personaly and with considering the relation between “information of reason” and “information of emotion”. This app brightly visualizes easy stories such as “the birth of a baby bird” and “popping out notes and sounds of piano with tapping keyboards” with specific functions of Digital Ehon and easy usabillity with finger that young todders can play. I think that the app is well designed as child-caring that activate brain via visual and audio sensation and accelerate development of functions such as “language” which develop actively during this period, “symbol” and “social refference” with finger sensation.
