Little Alice

Step In Books(Denmark)

About

Little Alice is a Wonderland of handmade illustrations, collage elements, splashes of watercolor including a unique musical score composed specifically for the project by award-winning movie composer, Jesper Ankarfeldt. AR allows for a shared experience where the family can get together and be immersed in an encompassing audio-visual experience.

Prize Comment

Little Alice is a state-of-the-art AR game for children as an augmentation to the children’s book, Nursery Alice, a re-adaption of the classical story about Alice in Wonderland written by Lewis Carroll himself with the objective to reach a younger audience. As a big scoop we have succeeded in teaming up with extraordinary New York based illustrator Andrea D’Aquino, who with her unique, artistic, and dreamy fusion of watercolor and collage technique has illustrated Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland (2015).
