No.6 Yuji Ujihashi Prize

Suke Suke Ten-Sukeru to mieru shikumi no sekai

KOO-KI Co.,Ltd.(Japan)

About

This work is a plan exhibition that held at Fukuoka City Science Museum in the summer of 2018 and attracted a lot of people.
A hands-on event that introduces the contents of various creatures and things through “”sukeru(see-through)””.
In recent years, while things are being simplified / invisible, we planned and produced this exhibition to make people have more interest in things by feeling the state and structure of contents they don’t pay attention to in their everyday life.
You may feel “It’s fun to know things you do not know!” after you visit this exhibition.

Among submitted works of this year, Digital Ehon expands its limit to offer a museum experience that people are physically able to enter in it.
With this work themed about how the world appears in transparency, we discover a sensory extension of digital world from a screen to a real experience by moving your own body and touching a physical world. This can expand an ability of digital teaching materials. (Yuji Ujihashi)
